Gallery: Visit to King's College

Virginia Woolf and Politics Summer Course, 1-6 July 2018

We paid a visit to King's College to see places associated with Virginia Woolf, such as the chapel, where she attended concerts, and the rooms of John Maynard Keynes. We saw the college's extensive collection of portraits of people associated with Bloomsbury: Rupert Brooke, Roger Fry, Vanessa Bell, and many others. We also learned about the history of this remarkable institution, and were fortunate to visit parts of the college not usually open to visitors.

Thanks to Peter Jones, Fellow of King's College, for a fascinating tour.
